It is with great delight that we are now able to officially announce that we have been selected as a finalist in the Southern Oxfordshire New Business Competition. As the name suggests, this competition is solely for businesses which reside in South Oxfordshire and are less than two years old. The competition is organised by Jennings and supported by Olympic rowing gold medalist, Tim Foster MBE
Now that we have been chosen, we have a meeting with the judges where we will explain certain aspects of our business including what winning would mean to us. We are incredibly excited about this award and can’t wait to meet the judge and show why we are so great and why we feel we should win. There is an awesome prize package worth over £10,000 up for grabs and we firmly believe that wining would help our business grow and bring us a lot of positive publicity.
To get to this stage the entry we had to submit asked us to describe in less than 100 words, why we felt we should win the Southern Oxfordshire New Business Competition and what it would mean to us – not an easy thing to write. We submitted our entry and were then pleasantly surprised when the email came through telling us that we were a finalist in the South Oxfordshire New Business Competition.
Here’s hoping that when we meet the judge we can make a convincing case for being a winner and that we can go all the way and win the competition. We will keep you posted on our progress.
